Ingredients

Boiling Eggs

  • 5 Fresh egg
  • 16 oz Water
  • 16 oz Ice

  • Make a hole with a pin at the bottom of each egg. (This helps the eggshell peeled off easily.)

Boiling eggs

  • Put fresh eggs into the boiling water.

  • Boil eggs for 7 minutes to make soft-boiled eggs.
    Boil eggs for 9 minutes to make hard-boiled eggs.
  • Drain the boiling water with a strainer and take the boiled eggs. Then, put the boiled eggs into ice water.

Make sauce

  • Put soy sauce, water, mirin and sugar into a pan, then heat the sauce, and stop it when boiling.
  • Cool down the sauce.

Marinate the boiled eggs

  • Peel off eggshells.
  • put the peeled eggs and the sauce into a plastic bag.
